Definition

SolaShield® are white protective pearls available in pearlescent form (SolaShield®) or matte form (SolaShield® M) and belonging to the SolaPearls® range.
They are made using high-precision macro-inclusion technology. This high-quality process allows to make each pearl individually with perfect reproducibility. SolaPearls® are the jewel of made in France high-tech cosmetics. The inclusion matrix of these premium beauty pearls contributes to the product’s caring effect and its sensory experience.

SolaShield® must be incorporated into a formula between 10 and 40% depending on the desired composition.
Solabia Group Research has developed a transparent serum perfectly suited to the pearls: Solagel®.This serum is recommended because of its interactive properties with pearls. It retains the pearls in suspension and also helps to regulate their hardness so that they disintegrate on application and leave no residue on the skin. The different elements of the product then merge into a cool, soft gel that melts on the skin. This serum is fully customizable: water-soluble active ingredients and plant extracts, fragrance, pearlescent agents, water soluble colorants… Formula variations are endless to create your product’s identity and enrich it with new claims.

Properties

SolaShield® are 100% skincare pearls which form a “breathable” physical barrier on the cutaneous surface.
These pearls act like a natural second skin, thus protecting the skin from absorbing pollutants, in complete elegance and sensoriality.

They are made up of a duo of polysaccharides that bring their proven properties:

• Pollustop®: active ingredient that forms an anti-pollution shield on the skin’s surface and physically and offer an immediate and physical protection against 3 types of pollution: atmospheric pollution, UV rays, and household pollution.
• Polysaccharide of marine origin forming the 3D shape of the pearl luxury case for Pollustop®. An active and sensory matrix to chemically and physically trap different impurities while moisturizing and softening the skin
