Flavobiotics® for intestinal health

A natural extract of Citrus sinensis and paradisi is used in MicrobiomeX®. It is the first Flavobiotic® in its class that boosts the potential of the intestinal microbiome while preserving the intestinal barrier. This clinically validated substance improves the profile of saturated fatty acids and reduces intestinal inflammation. The advantageous effect varies per dose between 250 and 500 mg.

Action mechanism

1. The positive change in the composition of the microbiome induced by taking Microbiomex®, results particularly beneficial because it allows a greater production of Short Chain Fatty Acids – mainly butyrate and propionate – essential compounds for the maintenance of intestinal barrier and regulation of the immune system.

2. The active Microbiomex® metabolites released into the intestinal lumen have a direct anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect on the intestinal mucosa.
