In 2020, the Solabia group strengthened its presence in Brazil and its “microbiological diagnostics” division with the acquisition of Laborclin, a leader in the national clinical microbiology market.

This company, based in Curitiba, Paranà, was founded in 1968. It produces culture media, reagents, dyes and laboratory products for clinical analysis, research and animal health.
This acquisition has enabled to strengthen its industrial production resources, increase its research and development capacity and expand its product lines. This association has created new opportunities for expansion through the combination and optimization of the highly complementary distribution networks between Biokar Diagnostics and Laborclin.
Laborclin is also committed in quality process and involved in sustainable development issues. The company is certified GMPeC (Good Manufacturing Practice and Control) ensuring quality and safety of the products.
