Action mechanism

The effectiveness of Zinc Pidolate results from the complementarity between the mineral and an organic anion naturally present in the body: pyrrolidone carboxylic acid.
PCA acts within the body as a precursor of amino acids, such as proline and arginine. Cellular penetration and transport of the associated mineral are then facilitated and the zinc is therefore found more rapidly in the target organ.
Zinc pidolate is used to treat zinc deficiencies but also to improve skin quality, strengthen nails and hair and improve vision.
