It is used to stimulate the toxin production during vaccine manufacturing, particularly with diphtheria toxins ; the growth of Corynebacterium diphtheria, as well as other fastidious bacteria.

Avian peptone

A peptone destined for used in the pharmaceutical industry for vaccine production. Bovine (BSE) free and devoid of porcine elements as well. Other applications exist for fastidious bacteria in terms of growth media.
