A new alternative method PERFECTO Duo for enumeration of Clostridium spp. and Clostridium perfringens
A unique alternative method : PERFECTO Duo®, for the rapid, simple and simultaneous enumeration of sulfite-reducing Clostridium spp. and Clostridium perfringens for human food products, animal feed and environmental samples.
PERFECTO Duo® enumerates both targets in one single plate in only 18 h, with a clear differenciation of C. perfringens from other Clostridium spp.
It also allows a direct biochemical confirmation of C. perfringens in 15 minutes, thanks to the COMFIRM’ C. perfringens test kit. No purification is needed.
PERFECTO Duo is an alternative to NF EN ISO 15213-1 and NF EN ISO 15213-2.
