Laurydone® is the lauric ester of L-PCA, the physiological molecule of the skin. L-PCA is obtained by the cyclization of L-glutamic acid, an amino acid from plant origin.

Action mechanism
Due to its amphiphilic structure and the presence of a fatty chain, Laurydone® is a moisturizer with double efficacy. It provides the skin with long-lasting hydration thanks to the hydrolipidic film it forms on its surface. It also allows you to keep an optimal level of hydration thanks to the L-PCA released. Laurydone® is therefore particularly adapted to formulations in lipophilic medium such as lipsticks and other make-up products, avoiding any dehydration phenomenon induced by pigments.
