Calcidone® is a 100% natural bio-mineral complex in powder form composed of calcium, an oligoelement essential to our body, and L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid or L-PCA, a physiological molecule of the skin. L-PCA is obtained by the cyclization of L-glutamic acid, an amino acid from plant origin.

Action mechanism
A complex of multi-benefits, Calcidone® fuses the properties of L-PCA, in particular its action on hydration and the skin barrier, with those of calcium, known for its role as an intracellular second messenger and a key player in the renewal process of the different layers of the epidermis. This synergistic combination improves the skin’s ability to retain its moisture and strengthens the epidermal architecture, making it less prone to signs of fragility and irritation.
