Solabia agrees to acquire Mibelle Biochemistry to create a leading independent player in cosmetics and nutraceutical ingredients
Solabia Group, a global leader in biotechnology-driven active ingredients for health and beauty industries, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Mibelle Biochemistry, a renowned Swiss innovator specialized in the development and production of unique, high-performance active ingredients for the cosmetics, nutraceutical, and food industries, from Persán, a multinational and European market leader in the areas of home and personal care.
Founded in 1991 in Switzerland as part of the Mibelle Group, Mibelle Biochemistry offers a science‑backed portfolio spanning skin beauty, healthy aging, hair care, and cognitive support, with distribution in more than 50 countries. The company is recognized globally for translating nature’s concepts into effective and innovative ingredients.
The acquisition of Mibelle Biochemistry strengthens Solabia’s leadership in natural and high-performance active ingredients by bringing together two science-driven organizations with highly complementary expertise in advanced biotechnology, plant-based science and sustainable innovation. Customers will benefit from a broader portfolio while continuing to rely on the known Swiss‑made quality of Mibelle Biochemistry.

The transaction is expected to close in the coming months. Financial terms were not disclosed.
