To preserve its essential capital, for a radiant skin complexion with a youthful appearance!

DEFINITION:
Aquaregul-K® is a physio-vegetal complex formed by the potassium salt of the L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (L-PCA) and an aqueous extract of Mexican cactus stems (Opuntia ficus indica).

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
A product of the cyclization of glutamic acid of plant origin, L-PCA is a physiological molecule the role of which is to maintain optimal moisture levels within the hydro-lipid film on the surface of the epidermis. PCA owes its moistening properties to its ability to form salts with sodium and potassium type ions but to its specific, biological effect on the stimulation of the natural process of epidermal differentiation. Potassium is the principal cation of intracellular fluid. It is involved in regulating osmotic pressure. Finally, the cactus is a plant that is known across the globe for its resistance to dryness and for its ability to store water.

APPLICATIONS:
Special Osmoregulating care for dry skin
Moisturizing care to restore the Na/K balance
