New product launch : Dichloran Rose Bengal Chloramphenicol agar

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new media formulation for the enumeration of yeasts & molds : Dichloran Rose Bengal Chloramphenicol (DRBC). This product is specifically designed for use in food products for human consumption or in animal feed, of which the water activity (a_w) is greater than 0.95, and is conform to the method described in the standard NF ISO 21527-1 of November 2008.

The complete formulation of this Biokar Diagnostics reference integrates all the components described in the ISO method which allows :    - the limitation of bacterial proliferation (Chlortetracycline, Chloramphenicol)    - improved pigmentation of molds (trace elements)    - restrained growth of Mucor (Tergitol)

SESAME Salmonella Enrichment ready-to-use in flexible, 5 L bags. 

SESAME Salmonella Enrichment is recommended for the preparation of primary dilutions and for non-selective preenrichment when testing for Salmonella using the SESAME Salmonella Test (certified AFNOR n° BKR 23/04 - 12/07).
